Occupational Health Surveillance "Many people today pay more attention to the condition of their cars than they do the condition of their bodies". Whilst an annual MOT inspection is now an accepted fact of life, when it comes to personal health matters, many people don't consider any form of health checks on themselves until serious symptoms manifest themselves. The prime objective of a Health Fair is to create a greater sense of awareness amongst staff to the main areas which can affect their general health and fitness for work and at home. An awareness that, for the employer, can help reduce absenteeism, increase productivity, improve work quality and staff morale. The exhibition should be enjoyable and positive and create an atmosphere where participants will be more receptive to other health information. Displays give simple health messages on each of the following subjects:
